The grieving mother of one of the teenagers killed in a horror smash yesterday evening said she could not put into words how much she will miss him.

Friends and family left heartfelt messages at the site where three teenagers died after a car crash on Kiveton Lane.

An 18-year-old and two 19-year-old men have died after a car crashed into a tree in Rotherham at 6.10pm.

A letter from one of the teenagers Mum’s reads: “Rest in paradise Son. I can not put into words how much you will be missed, love you always Mum.”

Floral tributes and letters have been left at the site at Kiveton Park for the teenagers, who have yet to be named.

“Cannot believe what has happened. Taken well before your time. Our thoughts are with you boys and your family.”

South Yorkshire Police said a white Ford Fiesta had gone off the road close to the Todwick Court junction.

A spokesperson from the force, said: “The three occupants, two-19-year-olds and an 18-year-old, were sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Their families have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.”

Police warned people to stay away from the area during this time.
